We have set up a Patient Participation Group to encourage patients to give their views about the practice.
Our aim is to establish a community of patients who we can contact to get their opinions on matters relevant to the practice and local health provision.
We are an active group of Practice Patients who work in partnership with Practice Staff and GP’s; we meet on a regular basis.
We provide a patients’ perspective, acting as a ‘Critical Friend’. We aim to foster communication within the wider patient population building stronger patient-doctor relationships.
The members meet with the doctors and nurses to discuss current issues within the practice and health centre. This is usually well attended and occurs several times a year. We are always looking for new ideas and new members.
