About Your Breast Screening Invitation
Eligible women registered with St Heliers Medical Practice will begin receiving invitations for routine breast screening from July 2025.
Prevention is better than cure. If you are invited for any form of cancer screening, please make it a priority to attend. Your health matters—and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

NHS breast screening uses X-rays (mammograms) to detect cancers that are too small to see or feel.
Anyone registered with a GP as female will be invited for breast screening every 3 years between the ages of 50 and 71. You will receive a letter in the post when it’s time for your screening.
